A morning hike up Bukit Batu Putih in Gopeng (935 ft) on August 31 (Malaysia's Merdeka Day). Featuring poetry at the limestone peak, palm oil views, ant march, trekking group, and an RM 9 breakfast.

A late-morning hike up Mount Andong via the Sawit trail. Perfect weather on the way up, foggy summit, and a rainy descent—a classic mountain adventure.
